What am I nearly? Who are we really?

I’ve been a community arts worker and CEO of national literature organisations, had a book published by Penguin, my work presented on stage, page and screen. In 2018 I completed a PhD in Creative Writing on Nearlywriting Nearlyology at Bath Spa University and in 2020 published my novel, What Didn’t Quite.

Chris Ifso & Yuli Meade

Now I’m writing new fiction and memoir, recording songs and making THE NEARLY SHOW about my current experience of Chemo in Lockdown.

“Chris Ifso is an artistic explorer. It’s great to see his work come to such vivid life. The Nearly Project is fascinating, playful, serious, wide-ranging, truly thought-provoking. ‘What Didn’t Quite’ is beautifully written”

– DAVID ALMOND, Author of SKELLIG and MY NAME IS MINA
